How to Win at Roulette

Author: David Lowes

How to win at roulette has been to gambling what the perpetual motion machine is to mechanics. Some inventors and math whizzes have come close, but there is no guaranteed way to win at roulette. However there are betting systems and strategies that give the player a better chance of winning. These systems help to control and manage the betting stake you bring to the table. There are combinations of progression bets and making more than one kind of bet at certain times during the run of the wheel. For example the black numbers have shown 5 times in a row. Some players on the sixth play would start a small progression bet on red with the idea being that there will be a red number shortly. Black numbers could continue to roll, but the longer the run continues, the nearer you are to a red number coming up. The problem with any of these anti-trend betting strategies is that this run of black numbers may be an aberrant series. This run could last further than a player can stand in playing the progression of higher bets. When the progression gets to a higher number than the player is willing to risk, the player abandons the bet for fear of another loss. The other problem is the progression can run into the table limit for a max bet. Another problem with this bet is the payoff is even money so your win, when it comes, will be a profit of one unit of bet.

Another idea is to play any section bet of twelve numbers that have not shown for a specific number of turns. The higher the number, the rarer the play will show, so the number has to be reasonable. On the other hand a low number may allow the start to be to far away from the winning wager. Trial and error will find a number that is bearable and shows often enough to make it a practical wager while playing the wheel.

The answer to how to win at roulette is simple. Bet on the winning numbers more times than you bet on the losing numbers. This answer is what all of these roulette systems that are sold on the Internet are all about. The winner from the sale of these systems is seldom the buyer and is always the seller.

Why would anyone sell a system that truly wins over several sessions of play? It does not compute.
